Finland Tourist Tries To Commit Suicide!

Finland tourist tried to commit suicide from a hotel balcony after being dumped by his Thai girlfriend. It took them almost one hour before they could get him to enter the hotel room.

BANGKOK – September 2, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 8 AM Police Col. Wuthinan Phornpakdi the investigation Department received a report that a foreign tourist was trying to commit suicide from the balcony of the hotel Honey Sukhumvit Soi 19, Klongtan, Wattana Bangkok. After receiving the report responsible police Department along with an ambulance from a nursing home arrived at the scene.

At the scene the Finland guy(foreign tourist) was standing on the third floor balcony of Honey Hotel wearing red pants and no shirt, both his back and feet were wounded and was bleeding. The police requested his Finland friend to talk to him and convince him. It took about one hour before he agreed to come into the hotel room. First aid was provided to him before they bought him to the police Hospital.

After police inquiries it has been found that the foreign tourist is Mr.Nika antero jokinen 38 years old, Finland citizen who was staying in room 120 on the first floor since 20th of August. After inquiring his Finland friend he confessed that Mr.Nika’s Thai girlfriend had broken up with him. This made him very stressed and therefore he tried to hurt himself. The police will now coordinate with him the Finland embassy but no charges are reported.
