Father-in-law Crashes into Son-in-law Before Shooting Him to Death

A cruel father-in-law revenged his son-in-law who always assaulted his daughter by cashing into him and ramming him off the road. He then shot him to death before fleeing the scene.

RAYONG – May 15, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 12.00 p.m.; Pol.Capt. Narongsak Trairach (police on duty of Ban Chang police station, Rayong province) was notified that there had been a man shot dead. The Incident occurred at the road behind Silky Oak golf course, Moo 2 Tambon Samnak Thorn, Amphur Ban Chang, so he reported it to his superior police before rushing to the scene with Pol.Maj.Gen. Somnuek Booramee (Commander of Rayong Provincial Police Station), Pol.Col. Therdkiet Wiriyasathitkool (Superintendent of Ban Chang police station), the detective police team, forensic police of Rayong Provincial Police Station, the doctor of Ban Chang hospital and the rescuers of Siam Ruam Jai Foundation, Rayong province.

At the incident the officers found the corpse of Mr. Anek Sa-ngiamwong, aged 32,from 12/24 Moo 2 Tambon Samnak Thorn, Amphur Ban Chang, Rayong province. He had traces of being crushed by a car to the bottom half of his legs. The officers also found that he was shot at his right cheek, left arm and right leg.

At the scene the officers found a silver bronze Toyota Mighty-X, license number Bor Ror 7930 Rayong which belonged to the deceased, it had damage to the back and also had 5 bullet holes in the windshield, the glass behind the driver and the back of the pick-up. Later the police also found a 4-door-blue Toyota pick-up truck, license number Chor Bor 3784 Bangkok, which was parked behind a house no. 397 Moo 7 Tambon Ma Kharm Khu, Amphur Nikhom Pattana, Rayong province, which belongs to Mr. Phairat Soodtalawadee (the father-in-law of the deceased). This pick-up truck was parked approximately 1 km away from the incident point and had damage to the windshield and damage to the front from colliding with another car.

Pol.Maj.Gen. Somnuek Boorami (Commander of Rayong Provincial Police Station) said that from investigating the eyewitnesses the police found that the cause of the shooting was because Mr Anek (the deceased) went to see Mr Phairat Soodtalawadee, aged 56, who is the father-in-law of Mr Anek. They believed that they might of argued about the deceased always assaults his wife named Miss Ka, aged 29, who is the daughter of Mr. Phairat. Earlier she had escaped from the house after she quarreled with Mr. Anek and told Mr. Phairat about it. This made Mr. Phairat very angry so he went after Mr Anek and crashed into his car before shooting him to death. However, Mr. Anek has a criminal history and his name was also on the list of drug dealers in the area of Ban Chang police station.
