Faked Orange Juice In Bali Hai Pier

A street vendor sells faked orange juice in Bali Hai pier. He uses tap water and orange flavouring to produce orange juice.

PATTAYA-Recently- [PattayaDailyNews]; a Facebook user shared video of a street vendor who makes orange juice by mixing tap water with orange flavouring at Bali Hai pier.


Later “WeLovePattaya” Facbook page also shared this video with a caption that the vendor sells 20 baht for a bottle of orange juice. The Facebook users criticised that vendor’s act is really bad and it badly affects to image of Pattaya city.


On May 21th, the journalists went to bali Hai pier to inspect; however, they didn’t met the vendor because he closed his pop-up store already. The journalist just found some bottle caps on the ground.


Kong Krutjorn aged 52 revealed that he always sells orange juice here but he didn’t come today. Kong has no idea about his trick to produce orange juice.


Ratter Kaoropkru aged 65 beverage vendor who also sells orange juice said that she didn’t know about the trick and she insists that her juice is real. She added that the real orange juice should have orange pulp.


Prarom So-Udom aged 46 who is orange juice vendor also confirmed that the real orange juice should have the orange pulp. In addition, the orang juice vendor is terribly affected by this trick. As a result, the vendor and people would like to appeal the official to cope this problem.
