Drunken Filipino Goes On A Rampage

A drunken Filipino boxer went on a rampage in a gym because he couldn’t contact his girlfriend. He was carrying two knives as he went round the gym destroying property.

PATTAYA – April 16,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 2.00 a.m., Pol.Lt.Col. Pheeraphat Sornbootdee was notified that there was a drunken foreign man with 2 knives who was destroying property in the Red Bull Gym which was located at no. 54/7 Chaiporn Withee road, Moo 1 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chon Buri province. Therefore Pol.Lt.Col. Pheeraphat rushed to inspect the scene together with over 10 officers and volunteer police.

At an incident, the officers found Mr. Chapito Rivera, aged 25, Filipino nationality who was a boxer at the gym, he was crying and very drunk and was acting crazy damaging things. He was carrying 2 knives one in each hand. His Filipino friends had been trying to calm him down for over 1 hour but he wouldn’t listen to them.

While the officers were trying to calm Mr. Chapito down he was stabbing a bed with the knives and also punched a wardrobe. Soon after he became exhausted and put the knives down so his friends ran over to him and grabbed the knives. He was then arrested without any problems.

Upon initial investigation, the officers perceived that Mr. Chapito had phoned his girlfriend who lives abroad because it was his birthday but he couldn’t not contact her which stressed him out so he got drunk before going on a rampage. The officers sent Mr. Chapito to Nong Prue police station before contacting the gym owner to inspect all the damage to see if he wants to take legal action against Mr. Chapito to pay for the damage.
