CHONBURI – February 9, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]: Sansuk police forces mobilized to arrest a drug dealer making a drug delivery of meth tablets in front of Piyawat village, Angasila Muang Chonburi. Coordinating the stakeout was Pol. Lt. Col. Jarktep Phongphai, the suppression division inspector, who formed a team to hunt the suspect who worked as a factory commutation bus driver in Chonburi.

At the stakeout, officers saw the suspect approaching on a white Yamaha Fino motorbike and closed in for the arrest. But when the suspect saw them, he turned and fled, narrowly escaping capture. However, the suspect later returned to the scene driving an automobile, a golden bronze Toyota Vigo. The vehicle had a sticker, “Hor Jor Kor Laksanaporn Service,” that identified it as a commuter vehicle of a factory.

The suspect saw the officers and quickly drove away in the opposite direction. Officers began shooting at the vehicle’s front bumper and a back tire, and were able to stop the suspect. He was identified as Mr. Khematat Sereeniwat or Hin, 30 years old. Police seized the evidence of 30 orange tablets of meth, WY brand, and 2 grams of ice.

During questioning, Mr. Khematat told police that he did not sell the drugs, but just used them to trade for sex with a factory girl, whom he usually picked up. But the police officers were not convinced. So the police had Mr. Khematat help them entrap the others involved.

At the time of his arrest, Mr. Khematat was supposed to have delivered the drugs to a woman he traded sex with. She was identified as Ms. Karnjana Pangsomsee, 27 years old, living in a house behind Wat Ton Son, Bangplasoi, Muang, Chonburi.

So Mr. Khematat called her to arrange to deliver the meth in front of her house. He told Ms. Karnjana over the phone that he would give her 20 tablets of meth and she had to sleep with him. But she also had to trade him some ice, for which he would give her 10 more tablets of meth.

After the deal was complete, the police went to the house. When they arrived, they encountered two women who were waiting for Mr. Khematat at the front of the house, and detained them. They ordered the woman to bring out the ice that she had promised to give to Mr. Khematat for extra meth tablets.

Then the younger woman, identified as Mrs. Pasuda Kamkerd, 19 years old and 5 months pregnant, took out 2 small bags of ice from her shirt pocket to hand over to the police. Ms. Karnjana realized that she had been already cornered, so she claimed that the drugs belonged only to her, and had nothing to do with Ms. Pasuda, who was only temporarily holding the drugs.

Ms. Karnjana said she had intended for Ms. Pasuda to go outside to give the ice to Mr. Khematat, while she remained in the house and pretend she was feeling sick, in order to avoid having sex with Mr. Khematat. But the police did not care and brought the two of them and Mr. Khematat to prosecute at Muang police station.
