General Situation

The strong high pressure from China extended to Laos and upper Vietnam expected it will extend to the North and the Northeast of Thailand today (5 Oct). During 5-7 October, affecting first thundershowers and gust over the upper country, following with a decrease in temperature by 3-5 °C. The monsoon trough will strengthen with more rain and isolated heavy to very heavy rain in Chanthaburi, Trat, Ranong, Phang-nga, Phuket and Krabi.

 

During a change of season, thundershowers trend to reduce over the North and the Northeast following with the threat of cold spell and morning fog.
