PATTAYA- Recently- [Pattaya Daily News] on the 2nd of December reporters revealed that some villagers who had been fishing in a pond in Jomtien district had found a 2 meter long crocodile.

On the 3rd December Pattaya officials and Sawang Borriboon rescue team took 3 boats to search for the croc. They tempted the crocodile by using raw chickens that were tied to an oil tank but the crocodile still didn’t appear. The officials then pumped all the water out of the pond which took around 4 hours until they found the 1.8 meters crocodile which weighed about 20 kilograms. It’s expected that someone abandoned it and dumped it into the public pond.
