SONGKHLA – September 24, 2012 [Pattaya Daily News]: an order to arrest a coyote dancer was issued by Pol. Lt. Col. Phuwadol Arbtip, detective inspector, Hat Yai police station, Songkhla.

The suspect was identified as Ms. Paweena Sirisuk, age 21, a coyote dancer living at house number 906/17 Soi 17, moo 1, Nernkhao village, Khuanlang, Hat Yai. Police charged Ms. Paweena with attempted murder, and seized the evidence of a blood-stained fruit knife.

The incident began when suspect was sitting in a pickup truck to go to work at her bar with fellow employees. But suddenly a fellow dancer, Ms. Thanisa Makesawat or Warn, age 22, came to sit at the seat beside the driver. But Ms. Paweena had been saving that seat for another friend, so she got mad and told Ms. Warn to sit in another seat. Ms. Warn later complained about the incident to the band manager. The manager blamed Ms. Paweena and scolded her.

Ms. Paweena and Ms. Warn then got into a quarrel and began fighting. But Ms. Warn was a stronger fighter and Ms. Paweena couldn’t beat her. So Ms. Paweena snatched a fruit knife to stab Ms. Warn’s body and legs until she was seriously injured. Ms. Warn was rushed to the hospital.

After her arrest, the suspect confessed to stabbing Miss Warn, because she got furious at her for complaining to the band manager, and she could not fight Ms. Warn who was the better fighter.
