PATTAYA – March 5,2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; The commander received complaints from Pattaya bars claiming a “Superintendent Pop” were forcing them to sell peanuts in their business. Search for the suspected name were to no avail in his list of subordinates. Pol.Maj.Gen.Kittiphong also expressed his dislike to this type of behavior and would not neglect to take action that was seen in the video clip.

Sources revealed that “Superintendent Pop” might have been a police officer that was working the in the command unit of section 2 and was also an officer in the center of protecting children and women along with Pol.Maj.Gen. Kosol Phuavate. “Superintendent Pop” was well known in the entertainment center area.

It was later known from superior police that this behavior has been complained about before but no action was taken upon him. Superintendent Pop was promoted and was in charge of operations of another task in the force. Although he was moved to another province, he was still able to sell fried peanuts while reaping the profits for himself. This might be because in the past he was well known and made himself highly influential in the area.
