Car Jumps Red Light And Hits Motorcycle On Pattaya Crossroad

A car which was being driven at speed as it jumped a red light collided with a motorcycle. There were 4 injured at the scene.

PATTAYA – December 17,2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 17.00 pm Sawang Borriboon rescue team was notified that a car had ran a red light and had crashed into a motorcycle. At the scene at a north Pattaya crossroads were 4 injured people. After notification the police officers immediately rushed to the scene.

At the scene they found a Ford Focus car which had been damaged and Mr.Rungrueng Jaidee aged 21 was the driver who was slightly injured and Ms.Piyawan Maneejak aged 20 who was his girlfriend and passenger was severely injured. Also The officials found Mr.Nattapol Thipwai aged 27 who suffered a broken leg and severe wounds. Therefore the officials performed first aid on them before sending them to Bangkok-Pattaya hospital.Also they found Mrs.Samlee Tacha aged 31 who had also been injured in the accident and suffered head injuries. The officials performed first aid on her before sending her to Bang Lamung hospital.

Upon questioning Mr.Rungrueng he said that he was heading towards Choinburi and he accelerated through a red light and hit the motorcycle.

Initially the officials sent the injured to hospital and they are now questioning the car driver and witnesses so they can prosecute the person who was at fault.
