Cambodian Labourers Murdered Employer In Pattaya

A painter who had been arguing with some Cambodian labourers about wages has been found dead. He was found murdered in a house and he had been severely beaten around the head with an unidentified object.

PATTAYA – July 24, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- at 10.00 am Pol.Lt.Col.Saney Yodroongrueng-investigation inspector of Nong Prue police station- was notified that there had been a murder in a house in Nong Prue (district nearby Pattaya). After notification he was accompanied with Pol.Lt.Col.Kongsak Boonsuesoowan-deputy superintendent-, Pol.Lt.Col.Pakpoom Srilapamat-deputy superintendent- to lead an investigation team and Sawang Borriboon Thamma Satharn rescue team to the scene.

 

At the scene the officers found the body of Mr Paiseethong Pimtha aged 32 from Bueng Karn province. The body was face down wearing a Scott shirt and a pair of jeans. Also the body had been severely beaten by an unidentified solid object causing massive injuries to the head. Upon inspecting the room the officers found a bottle of liquor and a plate of snacks. The officers also found the dead man’s wallet which contained nothing near the woods.

 

Upon questioning Mr.Sathaporn Toma the 48 year old the house owner he revealed that Mr.Paiseethong was a painter and he had 4 Cambodian labourers (3 males, 1 female). Before the incident Mr.Paiseethong had argued with his labourers about their wages. Not long after he found him dead so he decided to call the police. Meanwhile the labourers had already fled.

 

The police officers expected that the labourers might be the murderers because they couldn’t agree on the wages issue. However the police are now hunting them.
