Boats Warned Not To Set Sail

The marine department of Pattaya have warned small boats not to set sail because of a storm which caused very rough sea conditions.

PATTAYA – Recently [PattayaDailyNews]; the Thai Meteorological Department forecasted that a storm depression had covered the south of Thailand and caused 2-4 meter waves.


Therefore, the official suggested that fishermen should be careful when setting sail. In addition, if the conditions worsen they should avoid going out to sea.


On January 26, reporters went to inspect Bali Hai pier. The reporters revealed that there will still people waiting to go to Ko Lan island.

Mr.ramuanphan jetkrit-marine officer- revealed that most of tourists are still Russian and Thais. The boats could only dock at Naban beach because at Tawan beach the sea was too rough.


In addition, the officials have put up red flags to warn small boats and jet skis not to set sail.
