Big-Bike Staff Threaten Police at Sattahip Bike Fair

More than 10 staff of a big bike fair, SPM NIGHT RIDER PARTY, Chong Samaesarn, Chonburi, threatened a police officer because they did not like that the police inspected a balloon throwing booth.

SATTAHIP – May 6, 2012 [Pattaya Daily News]; Pol. Col. Chonnapat Nawalak, Sattahip police station was asked for reinforcement from Pol. Sub. Lt. Ruaysap Rakissara when he was surrounded by staff of the big bike and classic motorbike fair under the name of SPM NIGHT RIDER PARTY to raise funds for children at the Samaesarn community football field, Tambon Samaesarn, Amphur Sattahip, Chonburi.

More than 10 bike staff surrounded him and Mr. Niran Bamroonbaan, the secretary of Subdistrict Administrative Organization Tambon Samaesarn while they were inspecting a balloon throwing booth at the fair.

 

Later, Pol. Col. Chonnapat Nawalak, Sattahip police ordered more than 20 police officers to come and control the disturbance and commanded to close the fair. Cars were not allowed to enter or exit the fair.

The incidence had drawn more 200 visitors who were angry because they were not allowed to leave the area.

Finally, the organizer of the fair came out to apologise to Pol. Sub. Lt. Ruaysap Rakissara.

He explained that it was a misunderstanding that the staff of the fair thought that the police came to extort money in the balloon throwing booth. The two parties negotiated for more than an hour, then the police forgave them and let every one go

 

Pol. Sub. Lt. Ruaysap Rakissara, the head of Samaesarn police sentry box said, while he was inspecting the fair he found a balloon throwing booth (which was illegal) so he asked the owner of the shop a woman who started arguing with him.

She ran out of the booth to call the organiser and came back with more than 10 staff and surrounded him and was threatening to beat him. Then two fat guys came up to him and said “ Do you know who I am? Be aware that you will lose the stars on your epaulette”.

Pol. Sub. Lt. Ruaysap Rakissara tried to negotiate but they wouldn’t listen to him so he had to call the police center to ask for reinforcement.
