Baht Buses Join Safety Campaign

Pattaya police and the Baht bus cooperative have together launched a new  campaign to keep passengers safe whilst using the baht buses.

PATTAYA-21st  May- [PattayaDailyNews] Pattaya police were in collaboration with the Pattaya bath bus cooperate to start a new campaign to keep tourists safe under the concept of “Safe minibus”. Pol.Col.Trairong Piwpan-deputy commander of Chonburi police station- chaired the opening ceremony.

 

POl.Col.Suktad Pumpanmuang-superintendent of Pattaya police station- said that the  campaign was aimed at training  the minibus drivers to drive safely and also to keep their passengers and belongings safe. Also the minibuses  will have  mesh installed on the sides to prevent accidents and thefts. Passengers can see the minibuses that have joined the campaign because they will be displaying campaign stickers.

 

Pol.Col.Trairong said that about 200 minibus drivers had joined the  campaign and have had the mesh installed. However  the officials said that they want every bus to join the  campaign in order to keep tourists and passengers safe.
