“Bad Karma” Runs In Sattahip Drug Dealing Family

A mother and her two sons sold amphetamines due to bad karma. The mother was arrested with 100 tablets and imprisoned, the elder son was arrested selling ya-ice and swallowed 10 grams of crystal methamphetamine during the arrest in order to destroy evidence and was sent to the hospital in a coma due to ya-ice overdose. Before he died to told his younger brother where he had hidden 4,000 amphetamine and two grams of ya-ice.

Sattahip, December 1, 2011 [Pattaya Daily News]; Captain Songpol Srisamarng, the chief of Drug Suppression Division, Sattahip Naval Base, Sattahip, Chonburi province together with special team arrested Mr. Kullawat or “Oak” Katemongkolvivat age 23 address, 179/15 Moo 9 Tambon Bangsarey, Chonburi province. The suspect was arrested selling drugs in front of the New Navy Training Center gate in Sattahip.

Mr “Oak” was found in possession of 400 amphetamine tablets and 13 small bags of ya-ice total weight of 17.31 grams plus 1,000 THB drug money, one Nokia mobile phone and one motorbike, Yamaha Spark brand, license number NGOR LOR SOR-21 Chonburi.

Mr. “Oak” was caught in an undercover operation where a navy spy ordered one bag of 0.52 g ya-ice worth 1,000 THB from “Oak” who was caught while he was riding a motorbike to deliver the drugs at the meeting point. The undercover police officers seized 12 clear plastic bags of ya-ice weight 16.79 g and 400 amphetamine tablets were found hidden in his handbag.

The suspect confessed that all confiscated drugs belong to his dead brother Mr. Tossawat or “Ohn” Katemongkol who was arrested in the middle of this year and swallowed 10 grams of ya-ice to destroy the evidence. He went into a coma and was sent to hospital where he died later. But before he died he told his younger brother where he had hidden 4,000 amphetamine tablets and 2 grams of ya-ice. The drugs were hidden in the ground under a tree behind the house.

He instructed his younger brother to sell the drugs to feed himself and their mother who had just been released from jail charged with selling drugs. Mr “Oak” had sold amphetamines to the navy training facility for almost one year until he was arrested. This was the fourth the 4th time Mr. Kullawat aka “Oak” was arrested.
