Australian Man Found Dead in Luxury Resort on Koh Samui

An Australian man has been found dead in a luxury room on Koh Samui. The death is mysterious because there were no signs of being attacked or robbed.

SAMUI – June 6, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]: at 19.00, Pol.Lt.Col. Jaru Petchpan, police officer of Bophud police station, Samui island, Surarth Thanee, were notified that there was a tourist who had died in a luxury resort, on Banbangrak beach, Bophud subdistrict, Samui district, so he went to check with the Samui island hospital medical team, and rescuers from Plailam temple.

 

At the scene in the New Sherman House resort, located on number 18/12, Banbangrak –Banplailam beach road, moo 4, Bophud, Samui, they found the body of a Mr Aus Turman Nicholas, 42 year old, Australian, wearing long jeans, and a shirt, lying on his back on the bed with his feet touching the floor.

 

Upon checking his body they didn’t find any signs of being beaten or hurt, and the room was tidy and nothing was missing. The police found some sleeping pills ,and expected that he may have been dead for more than 10 hours because the body had begun to swelled, so the police sent the body for an autopsy at the Samui island hospital to find the real cause of death.Also they will contac the Australian Embassy so they can contact his relatives.
