PATTAYA – November 28,2014 [Pattaya Daily News] at 01.00 am Pol.Capt.Aekkapat Sittisak-inspector of Plutaluang police station- was notified that a college student was almost raped in cassava field near Khao Cheechan Buddha statue. After notification the police officers went to inspect the scene.

At the crime scene the officials found the girl who was still in her college uniform and she was covered in dirt but was being helped by some local people.

Upon questioning the victim she revealed that she was riding her motorcycle from her friends dormitory to her house in Plutaluang district. Later a man who was approximately 40 years old and looked like a labourer rode his motorcycle alongside her before he started kicking her. She then tried to ride away but the villain pointed a knife at her and told her to stop.

The villain then left her bike in the woods near the road and took her on his bike to a cassava field to rape her. The man threatened her to not scream or fight back otherwise he would kill her so she begged for her life and she told him that she wouldn’t notify the police. Fortunately the man felt sorry for her and fled the scene. The girl then went to get some help from some local people.

Pol.Col.Anan Poorahong-superintendent of Plutaluang police station- said that the officers asked her to see the doctor before notifying her parents. Also the police expected that the villain was a labourer who stayed near the crime scene and are now hunting for him.
