American Attacked After Scolding Butcher In Pattaya

An American man was attacked by a butcher after the butcher crashed into him on his motorbike. The American scolded him about his actions which led to the knife attack.

PATTAYA – August 6, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- at 22.30 pm Mr.Daniel O’neill a 52 year old American rode a bicycle to Pattaya hospital after he had been slashed with a knife near X-Zyte, Central Pattaya.

 

Pol.Lt.Sakchai Janla-deputy inspector of Pattaya police stiation- led a team to question the victim who had suffered a cut to his left arm. The police and Sawang Borriboon Thamma Satharn rescue team sent him to Bang Lamung hospital for treatment.

After, the police rushed to the scene and upon questioning the eyewitnesses they were told that Mr Prasith Changkluengdee aged 29 who was a butcher and worked part time in a massage shop who was the attacker. The police then told his relatives to tell him to surrender himself and after a few later minutes Mr.Prasith appeared with his mother.

 

Initially Mr.Prasith told police that he was backing up his bike when he crashed into Mr Daniel’s bike. Mr Daniel then severely scolded him about his actions because he never looked. MR Prasith then got really angry so he decided to slash him on the arm with a butchers knife before fleeing the scene. He then dumped the knife in Nong Prue (district nearby Pattaya).

 

Consequently the police took him to re-enact the scene and then went to find the knife that was used as a weapon before taking him to the police station in order to prosecute him further according to the Thai law.
