50,000 THB Reward For Lost JewelsAn Iranian man who left a bag containing many jewels on a boat to ko Larn has put up a 50,000 baht reward for their safe return.
PATTAYA – April 2,2015 [PattayaDailyNews]; MR.MOHAMMADALI aged 25 from Iran was accompanied with his father who owns a jewellery shop in Iran to notified Pol.Lt.Sana Kotanon-inspector of Pattaya police station- that he had left a bag containing 12 Sri Lanka sapphires, 5 rubies, an emerald, and 6 packs of small sapphire on a boat as he was travelling to Ko Lan island.
MR.MOHAMMADALI said that he had bought the sapphires in Thailand to take home to make ornaments back in his home country. He went on to say that he took a boat called MIRACLE ISLAND 3 from Bali Hai pier to Ko Lan island at 10.00 am on April 1st. Once at the island he changed to a smaller boat and shortly after he realised that he had left the bag containing the jewels on the other boat. However, he asked the boat captain to search for the jewels but they were nowhere to be seen so he decided to contact the police.
MR.ABTIN said that he wanted the reporters to publish the incident in the news because he is putting up a 50,000 baht reward for the safe return of the jewels.
