5 Teenagers Released

Five Sattahip male and female teenagers aged between 14–16 had been held by police for 7 days for dealing and taking drugs have been released by police.

SATTAHIP – December 10th 2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; The Operation Centre for Narcotics Protection and Suppression, Amphur Sattahip, Chon Buri province, Mr. Norraset Sritaphasso (Sattahip sheriff) released 5 male and female teenagers, aged between 14 – 16, who were arrested for consuming and selling drugs. They were set free and allowed to go back home to their parents after being detained for 7 days.

 

Mr. Norraset Sritaphasso (Sattahip sheriff) revealed that they were detained for 7 days to teach them a lesson and also to discipline them about “life and duty” especially on how to be good members of the public. Mr. Norraset also asked for cooperation from their families especially for their parents to pay attention and take care of their children more closely than they did before in order to prevent them from slipping down the same path again.
