4 Indian Tourists Drugged And Robbed By Pattaya Beach Ladies

On 10th May 2009, four Indian tourists claim they were drugged and robbed by four Thai ladies they had taken back to their hotel in Pattaya.

The four men, Mr.Jaspreet Singh, [36], Mr. Sherry Juneia [38], Mr. Hameet Singh, [38] and Mr. Manish Barbhwaj, [33] were still in a dazed state when they reported the incident to investigator Police Lieutenant Colonel Pongsawat Wongwan at the the Pattaya police at 1:00 in the morning.

The victims told police they had been staying at the VC. Hotel on Pratumnak road, South Pattaya. On the night of the incident, they had been wandering around Pattaya beach road and had found four Thai women who they eventually took back to their hotel.

When they arrived at their rooms, the women gave them some beer which they had brought with them. After drinking the beer, they became tired and fainted.

When they recovered they found the women had absconded with over 200,000 baht’s worth of property including gold bracelets [totaling 14 baht in weight], 4 watches, 2 digital cameras, Nokia mobile phones, 87000 India Rupi and 30,000 Thai baht.

Police have registered their complaint and will carry out further investigations to ascertain the identity of the four women who they expect to find as soon as possible.
