1-year-old Girl Locked Inside Pick-up Truck

A 1-year-old girl had to be rescued from inside a pick up truck after her father left her inside to put some rubbish in a bin. While he was gone the girl pressed the lock button locking her self inside.

PATTAYA – May 7, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 10.00 p.m. the radio center of Sawang Boriboon Tharmma Satharn Foundation, Pattaya city, Chonburi province, was notified that a small girl stuck in the pick-up truck and the door could not be opened from outside. The incident occurred in front of Srisuwit school, Ban Rong Poh, Moo 5 Tambon Banglamung, Chonburi province, so the officers rushed to assist the girl.

At the incident the officers found an Isuzu Mu7 pick-up truck, license number Khor Mor-8503 Bangkok, with a 1-year-old girl locked inside. Mr. Saksit Wisetsuwan, Pathum Thani resident, who is the father had parked his pick-up truck in front of the 7-Eleven shop in order to put some rubbish in a bin and left the engine running with his daughter inside but when he got out she accidentally lock her self in and because the keys were in the ignition Mr Saksit couldn’t open the door. It took rescuers around 30 minutes to pry a door open . Fortunately for the the girl who was locked inside the engine was running and the air con was on so she didn’t over heat.

The police also added that they would like to warn parents to be more careful with their children when leaving them alone in cars.
