YWCA Meets Flood VictimsThe YWCA association and officials have been to meet a group of villagers who had asked for their help after being made homeless from the recent tropical storm.
PATTAYA- 27th September- [PattayaDailyNews] Ms.Praichit Chetaprai- president of YWCA- was accompanied with Ms.Aroonrudsami Boonkerd- social worker- and Mr.Neo from PAC (Pattaya Animal Coalition) to meet the villagers who had been affected from the flooding in RongMaiKeed village after they had asked for help.
The officials met the villagers who showed them their damaged houses, they also met a family who had 10 children living in a damaged house that had no clothes and had lost most of their belongings. There was also another 5 families consisting of around 20 people who living in the woods because their homes had been washed away. They had no running water and no electric.
Ms.Siriwan Maneein aged 27 revealed that the flooding had damaged his house and they had nowhere to stay and sometimes stayed at the Wat Kratinglai temple. The officials then gave them some beds and student uniforms for the children along with daily consumables.
