Youngsters Cheated

4 Si Racha teenagers have been cheated by a man who befriended them in a pub in Si Racha who then asked them to go to Pattaya.

PATTAYA – July 23,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 4.00 a.m., Pol.Lt. Jakkrit Jantakham (Inquiry official of Pattaya city police station, Chon Buri province) was notified that 4 youngsters had been deceived and their belongings had been stolen at an abandoned PTT gas station on Sukhumvit road, north Pattaya.

 

At scene the police found 4 victims who were standing waiting for the police at a gas station. Upon questioning Miss Wannipha Wutthiyasarn, aged 26, she told the police that she and her younger brother met a man, aged 25-30 in Tam Nan Chon pub, Bo Win branch, which she and her younger brother went there to celebrate the birthday of Miss Amphaka Pho-khao, aged 20. The man then persuaded Miss Wannipha, her younger brother and 2 friends to go to a pub in Pattaya city together.

When they arrived at the gas station they all got out to go to the toilet and left their belongings in the car. The man then said he was going to pick his friend up at an intersection and would be back in 10 minutes. After almost 2 hours the man still hadn’t returned and the realised that they had been tricked. Miss Wannaipha said that car was a white Toyota Camry with a red license plate. They had lost a Casio camera worth 12,000 THB, some documents and a Samsung mobile phone worth 8,900.

 

However, the police had made daily a record for evidence then coordinated with the detective police team to inspect all the CCTVs in the area to find the identity of the culprit.
