Young Female Burglar Busted In Pattaya Apartment

A 19-year-old female was caught burglarizing a South Pattaya apartment by the 35-year-old renter after she returned home from work. The victim called on neighbors to help detain the suspect. The thief told police she stole money and property to look after her girlfriend.

PATTAYA – April 29, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; At 1 a.m., a report of a burglar being detained by the victim was received by Pol. Lt. Capt. Tanongsak Inphadung, vice suppression inspector of Pattaya.

The victim, a 35-year-old female, found the thief in her apartment in South Pattaya. Police arrived at the scene at a 3rd-floor apartment. The door was cracked open, and the room was a mess from being searched. The victim was detaining the thief, a19-year-old female. The police seized the thief’s portable steel cutter and a screwdriver as evidence.

Moreover, in the room next to the crime scene, the door was cracked open also, and a computer notebook was brought on the bed. The police took a photo of that crime scene, and told the building manager to lock the room before notifying the other room owner, to check if there were more properties missing.

The victim told the police that she had returned to her apartment after closing her mobile shop in Tuk Com, South Pattaya. When she came back to her room, she saw that the door was open, and the light was turned on. So she went in to check, and found the thief sitting and searching for properties in her clothes closet. She felt shock and called neighbors to help her arrest the girl.

The suspect confessed that she was a tomboy and had to find money to look after her girlfriend, and use the money to spend together. The police were not convinced and charged her with the allegation of stealing property from a residence at night, and sent her to detectives to prosecute.
