PATTAYA – September 11, 2012 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 10:30 a.m., an arrest of a drug dealer linked to a major supplier was announced by Pol. Col. Thammanoon Munkong, Superintendent, Pattaya police station, Chonburi province; Pol. Maj. Jetsadavit Inpraphan, Inspector; together with the detective police team.

The suspect was identified as Mr. Jetsada or Mavin Thanee, age 19, a Thai-German, living at 202/60 Moo 6 Tambon Na Kleu, Amphur Banglamung.

Police seized 0.3 g of ya-ice from the suspect, who identified his supplier. He was identified as Mr. Chudom or Kla Ngarmphaibulsap, age 19. Police then went to Mr. Chudom’s house at 261/6 Moo 4 Tambon Na Kleu. However, Mr. Chudom escaped before police arrived.

Police searched the house and found the drugs inside a loudspeaker. They seized four packs of ya-ice weighing 220.4 grams, along with 5,000 amphetamine tablets contained in 25 bags.

Pol. Col. Thammanoon said the case began after undercover police officers became aware of Mr. Jetsada as a dealer smuggling and selling drugs in the area. So the police arrested him and seized a small amount of ya-ice. They investigated him further until they discovered that he bought ya-ice from Mr. Chudom, a major drug supplier in Na Kleu.

Mr. Jetsada confessed to police that he received ya-ice from Mr. Chudom to sell to the teenagers in Pattaya. Mr. Jetsada then used his money for living expenses and to go traveling.

Police charged Mr. Jetsada with possession of a Type-1 drug (ya-ice). Police then requested the Pattaya provincial court issue the arrest warrant to arrest Mr. Chudom, to be prosecuted further according to the law.
