The representative from Pattaya marine department revealed that 407 Jet Ski boats from 451 had registered to change the kind of boat with the officials already.

Mr.Sanit Boonmachai- director of Pattaya tourism association- said that they had some problems with some of the Jet Ski operators who had cheated tourist to negotiate for the damage costs before the representative from the insurance company had arrived.

Meanwhile, the official should define who would have to pay 2,000 baht to the insurance company in order to avoid any further up and coming issues.

However, the outcome of the meeting was that officials will prosecute anyone who is found extorting money from tourists. The operator and the tourist will have to sign a contract before renting their craft.
