Yet Again Chinese Tourist Drowns

A Chinese man has drowned at Tawan beach on ko Lan island. This isn't the first time its happened in the last few months which has caused a lot of concern from local people.

PATTAY – May 5,2015 [PattayaDailyNEws]; at 12.30 pm Pol.Lt.Wattana Pradit-inspector of Pattaya police station- was notified that a foreign man had drowned on Tawan beach on Ko Lan island. Also Sawang Borriboon rescue team had taken a speed boat to Ko Lan to take the body to Bali Hai pier. After notification the police officers rushed to inspect the scene.

 

At the pier the officers found the body of Mr.Ling Zhenlong aged 72 from China which had no signs of foul play.

 

Upon questioning a witness she revealed that Mr.Ling was with his on Ko Lan island and when he was swimming in the sea he passed out causing him to drown.

 

The reporters also reported that many foreigners had drowned in Pattaya during the past few months and local people had criticized Pattaya officials that the life guards that had been employed by them weren’t doing their job properly which needs addressing as soon as possible in order to keep people safe.
