Wool Sweaters Selling Like Hot Cakes In Pattaya city

Due to the recent cold weather shop owners have seen a sharp increase in the sale of wool sweaters.

PATTAYA – December 22, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; upon surveying  various shops that sell sweaters both brand new and second hand in Pattaya city after the recent cold weather which has been down 20 – 21 degree Celsius shops have seen a sharp increase in the sale of both brand new and second hand sweaters. The forecast is for the cold weather to continue for the next 2-3 days.

Upon questioning Khun Or, who is the owner of “Or Fashion in Trend” at the beginning of Soi Nern Phlab Wan, she said that due to the cold weather she has seen an increase in customers buying  sweaters and long sleeves jackets which are priced between 300 – 700 THB.

 

Khun Ke, who owns a second hand sweater shop at the  market fair in front of Aksorn school, said that  she only sells second hand sweaters. Most customers buy the knitted woollen sweaters because they are warm and cheap which are priced from 25 – 30 THB.

However,  this winter has been colder than last year so some shop owners have reduced their prices to clear their stock. For Khun Ann, who is the owner of a second hand sweater shop in Khlong Thom market Pattaya she said that it’s a lot cold than last year and she has reduced her stock and is selling sweaters between 100 – 300 THB.
