Women Murder Case Closed After Chasing Down Suspect For 3 Months

Police concluded the case of the murder of an air conditioning mechanic’s wife. Police chased down the murdered for over 3 months, the suspect claimed that he did not intend to murder the mechanic’s wife.

PATTAYA – June 2, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; At 12.30 AM, Police Maj. General Katcha Tatsart, Commander of Chon Buri police along with various police chiefs and commanders teamed up to arrest Mr. Tanadorn Treewisut, age 17, after he was being chased down for over 3 months. He was found guilty of murdering the wife of an air conditioning mechanic. Police were able to find the mechanic’s wife motorcycle with the suspect.

Police Maj. General Katcha revealed that the police were chasing down the suspect since March 1. He was reported to have murdered Mrs. Sinmalee Wattanatam, the mechanic’s wife at a village in Nong Prue sub-district. Mr. Sophon Wattanatam, the mechanic, told the police that the murderer used to be a worker at his air condition repair shop. He was reported that we was withdrawing money from Mrs. Sinmalee, but she wouldn’t give him any money as her husband, Mr. Sophon wasn’t at the shop, making suspect extremely angry. He then picked up a metal pole and hit it on her head, which immediately killed her. He then stole her possessions, which included a tablet, phone and motorcycle.

The suspect then sold the electronics to his friend who asked not be to be named for around 3,000 THB. He then fled to a forest and stayed for 2 days. The motorcycle he stole was sprayed with color in order to change car’s appearance.

Police were able to track down Mr. Tanadorn and were ultimately able to arrest the suspect after 3 long months of investigating. He then asked for forgiveness to Ms. Seepapai, Mrs. Sinmalee’s younger sister. He confessed to the police that he needed to withdraw money from Mrs. Sinmalee to buy food, but when she refused to do so, he got extremely angry and murdered. Mr. Tanadorn is now in police custody and will be prosecuted.
