Wine Merchant Robbed 3 Times In 2 Weeks In Pattaya

A wine merchant who has been robbed 3 times in the last 2 weeks pleaded with police to arrest the thief because if it happens again she will have to close.

PATTAYA – June 30, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]: at 14.00, Pol.Lt.Col. Kwanchai Numkanissorn, detective officer of Muang Pattaya Chonburi, was informed that a thief had broken into a beverage shop, called “Fa”, in the Tawanna Night Bazar project, Pattaya branch, beach road of Central Pattaya, Moo 9, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi. The police rushed to the scene.

 

The crime scene a beverage and fruit juice shop, which is owned by Mrs Boonyupawarn Kulsinthumarn, 46 years old who was waiting for the police. She then took them to where thief had used something to pry the canvas covering of the front of the shop to gain access to steal cash out of a drawer. The thief stole 700 baht cash, and 14 bottles of wine, total damage was around 10,000 baht.

 

Mrs Boonyupawarn, told police that the shop has been open for more than 2 years, but lately she had been robbed twice already this month and this was the third time in a fortnight. She begged the police to catch the thief because if it happens again she will have to close. The police took pictures and recorded all the information for evidence and sent detectives out to search for the thief.
