Sattahip Drunk Wife-Beater Stabbed to Death By Angry Spouse

The wife got angry at her husband who always beat her when he got drunk, while he was sitting and drinking to celebrate the new year, they had a violent quarrel, the husband grasped a Buddha image to beat his wife with but was stabbed by his wife and died at the hospital.

Sattahip, January 2, 2012[Pattaya Daily News]; at 12.30 a.m. Pol. Lt. Nares Boonthee , investigated officer, Sattahip police station, Chonburi province was notified that there was a man stabbed by a knife and had died in an emergency room at Queen Sirikit hospital Tambon Plutaluang, Amphur Sattahip, Chonburi province rushed to investigate with Pol. Col. Somchai Soonthavanick, Superintendent Sattahip police station and Pol. Lt. Col. Paroot Samart, Inspector and police team.

In an emergency room they found the dead body of Mr. Niwat Srikham age 31 address 23/3 Moo 9 Tambon Sattahip, Amphur Sattahip, Chonburi province, with no shirt and long jean pants, stabbed under his left breast by 1 single wound and then the police rushed to the house of the deceased and arrested Ms. Kamneung Boontukul age 30, the wife of the dead man and seized a sharpened knife, 1 foot long, for evidence.

Ms. Kamneung said that she lived with Mr. Niwat for more than 10 years and they had 2 children, Mr. Niwat’s always got drunk and quarrelled with her, before this incident occurred they had celebrate the new year in the house and had violently quarreled and she saw Mr. Niwat grasp the Buddha image to beat her so she ran into the kitchen to take the knife and stabbed him to death.
