Walking Street Go-Go Girl Killed By Cement Truck

A fast-moving cement truck merging into the Dolphin Roundabout in North Pattaya collided with a motorbike and killed its 30-year-old female driver. The victim’s 23-year-old passenger was also injured. Both women are go-go dancers at Baccara nightclub. The victim died instantly when she fell under the moving truck and was run over.

PATTAYA – March 29, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; At 11:30 a.m., a report of a fatal traffic collision was received by Pol. Lt. Sanan Khotanon, investigation officer on duty, Pattaya police station, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province.

A concrete truck had collided with the motorbike at the Dolphin roundabout, north Pattaya road, Moo 5 Tambon Na Kleu, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province. The rescue officers of Sawangboribultharmmasatharn Pattaya foundation went to the scene along with police.

The victim was lying on the road beside her motorbike, a pink Honda Click. She was identified as Ms. Chalermsri Samarnjai, age 30, address 150 Moo 9 Tambon Songhong, Amphur Meuang Buriram, Buriram province.

There were many wounds on the victim’s head and on the right side of her body. A 23-year-old co-worker who was a passenger on the motorbike had minor injuries.

Nearby was the vehicle that killed the victim, a yellow LD concrete truck of Nam Heng Co., Ltd. The driver was waiting for the police at the incident. He was identified as Mr. Itthiphol Ngernphoklang, age 23, address 104/1 Moo 2 Tambon Khlongmaplub, Amphur Srinakhorn, Sukhothai province.

Police questioned the victim’s co-worker, identified as Ms. Uraiporn Seesaohae, age 23, from Tambon Nong Yai, Amphur Sateuk, Buriram province.

She told police that she and her friend worked as dancers at the Baccara go-go nightclub on Walking Street. They were returning on the motorbike from Na Kleu to go back to their apartment on Soi Korphai in south Pattaya.

As they entered the Dolphin Roundabout, a speeding concrete truck also merged into the roundabout and suddenly scraped their motorbike. The impact caused the body of her friend to get thrown under the truck, and its rear wheels ran over her head and body, killing her instantly. Meanwhile, Ms. Uraiporn suffered only slight injuries to her knees and her body.

The rescue officers brought the victim to be kept at Banglamung hospital to wait for relatives to pick up the body to perform religious rites.
