This six-millionth international visitor is Mr. Curvalle Bernard Francois, French nationality. This is the first time he and his family have traveled to Vietnam on the voyage of Hainan Island (China) – Ha Long Bay  (Vietnam) – Hue Vietnam by luxury cruise of Super Star Aquarius, with more than 1,000 tourists and crew members.

This special tourist was awardedmedal, gift and certificate of the six-millionth international visitor by the leaders of VNAT and Quang Ninh province. In addition, he received a bonus tour to Da Nang – Hoi An for two people.

In the folk concept of Vietnamese, six is lucky number. Hence, the fact that the six-millionth visitor came to Vietnam, and Ha Long in particular, in the last days of 2011 is considered a good luck, especially after Ha Long Bay has been recognized one of the world’s new seven natural wonders. Vietnam targets to welcome 6,5 millions international tourists in the next year, more than 10% compared to the current year.
