Update of Uzbek Man Hit By Pattaya Bus Driver

Pattaya minibus drivers met police and brought wallet of Uzbek man who was hit by unknown bus driver. However, this group of drivers insisted they didn’t attack the foreign man.

PATTAYA – Recently [PattayaDailyNews]; According to the case that Mr.Turev Kamol aged 21 from Uzbekistan was hit by minibus driver in the mouth of Walking Street on February 13 at 04.00 am, he also lost his wallet contained 1,000 Dollars. It’s expected that misunderstanding led to the incident.

 

On the incident day at 18.30 am, Mr.Pranot Ketthong aged 41, Mr.Chaiyo Khamsanguan aged 45 and Mr.Kathawut Ratchamart aged 18 went to Pattaya police station to meet Pol.Col.Suktad Pumpanmuang- superintendent of Pattaya police station- and brought Mr.Tureve’s wallet to the police. The wallet contained 2,000 baht, 116 Dollars and passport. Mr.Kathawut claimed that he is minibus chauffeur; however, he was not an eyewitness and he just picked the wallet as he was on the way back home.

 

Mr.Pranot told the police that he spotted Mr.Turev and his friend who were really drunk walking out of Walking Street before a driver followed him and hit him; however, Mr.Pranot had no idea about the cause. Later he and Mr.Chaiyo decided to intervene the fighting before the unknown driver fled away.

Mr.Turev and his 3 friends went to Pattaya police station to receive his wallet at Pattaya police station; however, he claimed that 900 dollars has been lost. In addition, he claimed that Mr.Pranot was a man in a group who hit him.

 

Pol.Col.Suktad said that the officers didn’t yet prosecute these driver because they met the police officers by themselves and they claimed that they didn’t attack the foreigner anyway. However, the police officers would have to investigate this case so far.
