Update Of Contaminated Water At Sukhawadee House

Pattaya deputy mayor went to inspect land near Sukhawadee house after contaminated water appears.

PATTAYA – Recently [PattayaDailyNews]; According to the case that a wasted water had been drained into Pattaya sea, the issue has been talked about on social media.

 

Dr.Weerawat Khakai- deputy mayor of Pattaya- ordered the officers to inspect and found outa that the drained water came from a labor camp near Sukhawadee house.

 

On March 16, Dr.Weerawat and Pattaya officers went to inspect the scene in order to find the best solution.

 

Initially, the officers found a stagnant of water near the wall which gives very bad smell; therefore, the officers had to restrict the area in order to summon the board of Sukhawadee house to discuss about a problem further.

 

The deputy mayor added that he has been complained for a long time about the problem and he would collect a sampling water to check but it would take 5 days for inspection result. However, the oxygen level is less than 0.01% which means contaminated water.

Initially, the officers would also collect sampling soil in order to find out the root cause of the problem.

Meanwhile, Dr.Panya Chotitewan- president of Sukhawadee house- claimed that he had been a agent in public health section in Bangkok for over 14 years so this case might be misunderstanding because the environment is his priority.

 

In 2000, the land around Sukhawadee house is clay before the operator has continuously developed the land around. However, Dr.Panya still insisted that Sukhawadee has a good water management and treatment. As a result, he expected that the groundwater might be contaminated and spill out.
