Update Of Chinese Tourists Abandoned In Pattaya

Two guides who abandoned 38 Chinese tourists were caught by Pattaya police.

PATTAYA – June 20,2016 [PattayaDailyNews]; According to the case that 38 Chinese tourists were abandoned in R-Con Wong A-Mat hotel on 19 June, Pol Maj Col Piyapong En-Sarn, inspector of tourist police, and police officers arrested Ms.Nuntakarn Kanhasith 34-year-old and Mr.Li Jinkun 28-year-old guides of New Tai Wan Guo Travel Co.,Ltd in Bali Hai pier.

 

Upon questioning Nuntakarn confessed that she abandoned those Chinese tourists and she didn’t give them hotel room keys because the tourists didn’t grant to buy entertainment venue package. Meanwhile, Mr.Li is a presenter of company and he is also in charge of providing accommodation for the tourists. In addition, Mr.Li has no guide license.

 

As a result, they would be prosecuted according to Thai law.

 

Pol Maj Col Piyapong revealed that the officers contacted the company representative and she told the officers that 2 days package price is 9,800 baht for each. The package includes Bangkok and Pattaya. The representative claimed that they left the tourists because the tourists didn’t buy the additional package.

 

However, the company sent new guide to take care these Chinese tourists already and the tourists would travel tourist attractions mentioned in their package. Most of Chinese tourists actually satisfy the official who take care of the matter.
