Unemployed Nephew Kicks Uncle To Death In Pattaya

A man kicked his uncle to death after his uncle criticised him for not working after he was released from prison a year ago.

PATTAYA – February 13,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 00.10 am Pol.Col.Pramote Ngampradit-superintendent of Nong Prue police station- was notified of a murder in a house. After notification the police officers immediately rushed to the crime scene with Sawang Borriboon resuce team.
At the crime scene they found the body of Mr.Thongchai Sanamuang aged 40 who had a broken neck and many wounds to his head and face. Also the officers found an aluminium stick that the attacker had used.

In addition, the attacker hadn’t fled the scene and was sat watching TV therefore the officers arrested him. He was identified as Mr.Chaichana Sananmuang aged 32 who was drunk and was the nephew of the deceased.


Upon questioning Ms.Panida Mungdara aged 21 she told police that Mr.Thongchai had been drinking in his room while Mr.Chaichana was also drinking in his room. Later Mr.Thongchai scolded his nephew about him not working which angered Mr.Chaichana so they started arguing. Later Mr.Thongchai dragged his nephew in front of the house and tried to beat him up with an aluminium stick but his nephew fought back and kicked him to death.

Pol.Col.Pramote revealed that the police officers had checked the history of Mr.Chaichana and they found out that he had been jailed before for trying to kill and snatching offences and was released a year ago. However, the police officers prosecuted him according to Thai law.
