Unemployed Caught Red Handed For Snatching

An unemployed man had snatched a handbag from a girl before he was caught by Pattaya police.

PATTAYA – May 10,2016 [PattayaDailyNews]; at 10.30pm Pol Col Suktad Pumpanmuang- chief of Pattaya police- and police officers together made the statement after they had arrested Suriya Kadnahong aged 27 who snatched a handbag from Rawinworakan Loket aged 18.


On May 10 at 06.00am, police were notified that there was snatching in front of Korean BBQ restaurant in North Pattaya. They immediately rushed to inspect the crime scene after they had been notified the incident. At the crime scene, the police officers found the girl who told them that a Thai man who hopped a motorcycle followed her and snatched her handbag before fleeing the scene as she was on a ride.


Komsan Prongkamol, volunteer police, spotted the incident before he chased the motorcyclist. Plus, he used radio communication to contact Pattaya police in order that they would assist to catch the man. The thief ran out of control and fell down at an intersection before he fled to hide in WatNongyai temple; however, he was caught finally.


Suriya confessed that he is unemployed so he decided to rob the victim. In addition, he dropped the handbag as he was escaping. However, the police officers would have to prosecute him on charge of robbery.
