Ukrainian Suspect Detained For Robbing Money Exchange

Pattaya police have detained a man from Ukraine after he was suspected of robbing a money exchange in Pattaya.

PATTAYA-Recently- [Pattaya Daily News] regarding to the case that a foreign had robbed Mr.Suwat Rachatawattanakul a 58 year old deputy chief of Nong Prue district and the man took 200,000 baht from the Rachata money exchange before fleeing the scene. The incident took place on February 8th at 21.00 pm. Initially, Pol.Col.Trairong Piewpan-deputy commander- investigated the crime scene with other officers.

 

On the 10th February at 00.10 am, Pol.Col.Trairong Piewpan, Pol.Col.Pratchaya Prasarnsuk, Pol.Col.Prapansak Prasarnsuk, Pol.Lt.Col.Ratchapong Teasud, Pol.Col.Suktad Pumpanmuang and police officers had arrested the suspect who was identified as Mr.Ayder Bezaziyev aged 27 from Ukraine.

 

Previously, the officers had summoned one of the victims who remembered the villain to be questioned and he revealed that the villain looked like Mr.Ayder who was a Russian guide and he had exchanged the money months ago. Later the police officers went to Sayama company that Mr.Ayder worked for and then inspected his room in Soi Bongkot, Central Pattaya. Also the police officers found a small pack of cannabis so the officers took him to be questioned at the police station.

Upon questioning Mr.Ayder he still insisted that he was collecting money from the customers in hotels in Pattaya on the incident day. Later he was drinking with his friends in front of the company he works for. However the police inspected his history and found out that he had a student visa and travelled from Laos to Thailand via Nong Kai border on the 18th November to work for this company. Initially, the officers detained him and charged him for holding cannabis and the officers sent a blood test to the forensic officers in order to test to see if he was the villain or not.
