Ukrainian Man Confesses To Robbery

A Ukrainian man was finally caught by Pattaya police after robbing an exchange shop in Pattaya. He confessed to the robbery and told police he needed the money to pay off his debts.

PATTAYA – Recently – [Pattaya Daily News]; regarding to the case that a foreign man had robbed the Rachata Exchange shop of 200,000 baht before fleeing the scene.

On February 10th at 18.00 pm, Pol.Col.Nitipong Niemnoi-commander of Chonburi- went to Pattaya police station in order to question Mr.Ayder Bezaziyev aged 27 from Ukraine a suspect in this case. Later he confessed that he had robbed the exchange shop because he needed money to pay of his debt to a company that he worked for after he had defrauded money from the company and he also needed money to buy a flight ticket to travel back to Ukraine.

Later the police officers took him to re-enact the incident at a deserted house in Soi Sukhumvit-Pattaya 52 in Jomtien district where he had hidden the money. The officers found 136,000 baht. Later the officers took him to the woods where he had hidden the BB gun that he used to rob the shop before taking him to the Rachata exchange shop. After re-enacting the incident he was prosecuted according to Thai law.
