Uganda Nationals Busted For Trafficking

Uganda nationals were caught by Pattaya police after tricking victims to prostitute in Pattaya.

PATTAYA – March 10,2017 [PattayaDailyNews]; at 15.00pm Pol Col Apichai Krobpetch, chief of Pattaya police, led police officers to arrest Miss Maree Nagawa aged 29 and Miss Rosemari Nabwari From Uganda on charge of human trafficking. .


Pol Col Apichai said that the officers were previously notified from 2 women from Uganda that they were fooled to prostitute in Pattaya by the suspects.


Victims claimed that they immigrated via Suvarnabhumi airport and they were tricked by the gang who offered job in Pattaya for them.

Later they travelled to Pattaya where the suspects told them to prostitute on Pattaya beach but they decided to reject to do and they went back to their accommodation.


They tried to travel back to Uganda on the day after but their flight was canceled so they decided to go back to Pattaya again.


The victims decided to flee again and they went to the airport and the suspects followed them and notified the officers that the victims stole their stuffs but the officers didn’t find any stolen stuff. However, the police officers would investigate to find out the truth further.
