Pattaya, 17th April 2011. [Pattaya Daily News] At 3.30 p.m Police Captain Teerapong Aong-ard   Assistant Suppressing Officer of Banglamung Police Department was informed that a Thai man stabbed an older Thai man. The fight happened at Rai Wanasin market, Pondprapanimit Road, Moo.6, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi. The police rushed to the crime scene with Sawang Somboon rescued team.

At the crime scene, the victim was stabbed a few times at head. He lied in pool of blood. The police identified him as Mr. Sittichai Jaiseng, 53, motorbike-taxi driver at the market. The rescue people performed the first aid before taking him to the Banglamung Hospital. The suspect was Mr. Samroeng Charoenyod, 34 (resides at 28, Moo.3, Dongyang, Muang, Petburi), a papaya-salad vendor. He stated that while he was at his papaya- salad stall, the victim who was in heavily drunken state stabbed him with no reasons. They never had a fight before. Fortunately, the suspect had a minor injury since the knife blade grazed him a bit. Having seen that, the victim grabbed a one-meter steel bar to stab the suspect again. This time the suspect fought with a machete.

The police revealed that from the interrogation of the surrounding witnesses, the victim always had fights with the motorbike-taxi drivers. Before the fight, his wife had seized the bike because she was afraid he might have had an accident because of his drinking. The reason he stabbed the suspect might be from stress.
