TSPCA To Promote Animal Welfare

TSPCA (Thailand Society for the Prevention of cruelty to Animals) and NCOT (National Scout Organization of Thailand)have co-worked to promote animal welfare amongst children.

Assoc Prof.Nuchthip Bunjongsil-deputy director of TSPCA-, Mr.Chaichan Laohasiripanya-secretary of TSPCA- and Mr.Sawan Saengbullang-committee of TSCPA- had signed a collaboration with NCOT officers which consisted of Mr.Suppakorn Wongprad-secretary of NCOT-, Mr.Dech Woracharoensi-director of NCOT- and Mr.Sayan Santad at Cantary Bay Rayong hotel. Also there were teachers, students, scouts attending the ceremony.

Assoc Prof.Nuchthip said that previously TSPCA had held a seminar about the project of regulating animals as part of the scout with the NCOT. A lot of scholars had focused on the project and they had co-worked to create the new scouts project to make it easy to understand.


She added that the learners will be able to understand easier via activities and they can effectively share their knowledge with others. In addition the learners can apply their knowledge and morality to pets and animals to protect them from cruelty.

Mr.Suppakorn Wongprad said that this collaboration aimed to promote good values in petting and looking after animals which can prevent cruelty to animals. Also they had developed the contents of the subject so that scouts can be trained right away.
