Truck Shot at by Mysterious Gunman in Chonburi

A truck which was carrying Cambodian labours was shot at causing it to overturn killing 2 and injuring 10. Eyewitnesses said the shot looked like a police man.

CHONBURI – June 15, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; Reporters revealed that at a grocery store in Bo Thong, Chonburi they found a bike, blood stains and three 9 mm bullet shells. They also they found Ms Mintra 11 year old who had accidentally been shot in her elbow.

 

Upon inspecting CCTV they found that Ms Mintra and her friends were walking when a truck which was carrying lots of people was being chased by a white car and the occupants looked like police. Then the men in the car started shooting at the truck and Ms Mintra and her friends fled but she was accidentally hit in her elbow.

 

Pol.Lt.Col.Nattawat Srithongpetch-investigation inspector of Nongyai police station – revealed that he was notified that a truck that was carrying foreign labours suffered a blow out and over turned on the road. At the scene they found a body of Cambodian man and woman and the other 11 injured victims were sent to Nong yai hospital.

 

Upon questioning the Cambodian labours they told police that they were from Rayong and they were going to me more friends who were getting ready to travel back to Cambodia. When they reached the scene the white car driver asked them to stop but the driver refused and accelerated away. They then said they heard gun shots and the truck over turned. However the police are collecting more evidence in order to find out the real cause of the accident.
