Trouble Makers Set Tyres on Fire During Curfew in Pattaya City

A group of trouble makers who were out during the curfew in Pattaya set fire to a load of tyres on the side the road on route 7. The police believe it was done to cause trouble during the curfew.

PATTAYA – May 23, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 12.30 a.m.; while the police of Nong Prue police station were mobilizing officers to preserve security in the area they found many tyres were burning next to route 7, section 5, km.123, entrance route to Pattaya city. The police believe the incident might have been done to cause trouble during the curfew which was announced on that day.

After incident had occurred the police and the rescuers of Sawang Boriboon Tharmma Satharn Foundation, Pattaya city, together with 1 fire truck from the Fire and Rescue Department, Mueang Nong Prue Municipality, rushed to the scene and found over 10 tyres burning on the side of the road so the firemen quickly extinguished the fire. There were no injuries caused by the fire.
