Trad Fruits Meet Demand 80% output Exported

Trad agriculturists meet the demand of fruit because foreign traders need lots of output. 80 % of outputs are expected to be exported.

Trad-recently- Mr.Sumitr Keawkajee- chief of Trad Chamber of Commerce- revealed that agriculturists will be slightly affected from decreased output however the need of foreign traders have significantly increased. The foreign traders such as Chinese, Vietnamese and Malaysian need a lot of output and they look for wholesale. Durian and mangosteen are needed by them which they would like to limitlessly purchase them, they especially need high quality fruits. Each farm has a few traders who come to and ask them to purchase the output, therefore, the farm owners need to share the output to each trader.

Mr.Sumitr said that it’s actually pleasant and good for the agriculturists that they can sell their out puts and meet the market demand. Chinese and Vietnamese traders are interested in Trad output because they are high quality product. In addition Trad fruits can market in China and Vietnam in a few year ago, they become famous product in the world market especially durian and mangosteen which can sell high price.

Mr.Sumitr revealed fruit prices by the following,
Mangosteen, large size = 65-75 baht/Kg.
Medium size = 50 baht/Kg.
Small size = 30 baht/Kg.

Durian, 55-65 baht/ Kg.

Rambutan, 20-25 baht/Kg.

It’s expected that 80% of Trad fruits will be exported. However mass demands lead to price competition, Trad Chamber of Commerce collaborates with Trad DIT (Department of Internal Trade) to control and set the standard price for trading outputs.
