Tourist Police Officer Arrested With Crystal Meth In His Anus

PATTAYA – February 25, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 00.15, Pol.Lt.Col.Arun Prompan, detective police officer from Pattaya tourist police unit, arrested a Mr.Goodwin Chinedu Abagarakwe, from Nigerian. He was caught with 4 grams of crystal meth. He was arrested because the police were informed from informants that a black man dressed as a Tourist police officer who was selling drugs to tourists in Pattaya.

Upon approaching Mr.Abagarakwe from Nigeria the police asked to search him and found that his passport had expired for more than a year. There also found some money hidden in his shoes. He then started acting more suspiciously so the police took him to the police station and strip searched him were they found 4 grams of crystal meth in his anus.

From questioning him he told police that he had been in Thailand for a year and he had a fashion clothes business in Pratoonam, exporting clothes to his hometown, but lately he lost money so he turned to selling drugs. He bought the drugs from an agent in Bangkok and would sell to foreigners in Pattaya.

Pol.Lt.Col.Arun Prompan, revealed that his passport had expired over a year ago on Dec 6 , 2012. He was arrested for class 1 drug possession and intent to sell. Also that he hadn’t got permission to stay in the kingdom of Thailand. He was then sent to the detective officer of Pattaya police station to be prosecuted further.
