Ticket Boy Steal To Buy Drugs

A ticket boy of a tour bus in Amphur Sattahip stole belongings in 2 tour buses which he confessed that he stole because he wanted to sell the items in order to get money for buying amphetamines to consume. He was lynched (vigilante justice) until got badly bruised.

SATTAHIP – January 23, 2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 12.30 a.m., Pol.Capt. Phichitphong Yodphikul (Inspector police on duty of Sattahip police station) was notified that there was an incident of stealing property in which a thief was captured in a tour bus garage without address number which was identified as Wathanyu Tour, Moo 6 Tambon Bang Sarey, Amphur Sattahip Chon Buri province, so he rushed to inspect at scene.


At an incident point the police found Chief Petty Officer First Class Pratheem Prabnarong, aged 49, belongs to the Supreme Command Headquarters, who was an owner of such garage, was assisting his employees to detain Mr. Wipas Onmueang, aged 28, who was a ticket boy that had stolen belongings in a bus, he was badly bruised with a swollen face and breeding a lot from his nose. He was captured with exhibits of 2 items of 21 inches flat screen TV and 1 pawn ticket of HP notebook computer for 3,000 THB. At the parking lot, the police found 2 tour buses, license number 30-3030 Chon Buri and 32-7435 Bangkok which televisions inside such 2 buses were missing. Initially, the defendant confessed that he really stole the belongings inside the 2 buses due to he wanted to sell them and get money to buy amphetamines for consuming.

Upon questioning Chief Petty Officer First Class Pratheem Prabnarong (an owner of tour bus garage) he said that approximately 1 month previously Mr. Wipas Onmueang (a defendant) had applied to be a ticket boy of his shuttle tour buses that service for tourists. As CPO1 Pratheem saw that his appearance was so simple-minded and he had a submissive manner so he accepted Mr. Wipas to be his employee, but later he had showed his true colors by stealing televisions and a notebook computer that were inside the tour buses in order to sell them and use the money to buy amphetamines for consuming but he was caught red-handed on the side of a road in the city (down town) of Chon Buri province while he was carrying a big plastic bag with all items inside and waiting for the bus in order to flee the area of where he committed the crime.
