Thunderstorms spread across ThailandThe Thai Meteorological Department has warned that due to the low pressure over Thailand and the current wind direction that it may bring on very strong winds and Thunderstorms which could cause damage to buildings and personal injury.
THAILAND – April 15,2014; at 04.00 am. The Thai Meteorological Department have reported that the northern parts of the country is covered with low pressure and will have a south-easterly wind during April 15-16, this may bring on very strong winds and the chance of thunderstorms. They have warned people to beware of the freak weather as it has the potential to cause damage to buildings and personal injury.
The weather forecast for Thailand from April 15; at 06.00am. Until April 16; 06.00am, the east will see high temperatures with it clouding over and may see a 20% chance of a thunderstorm. A low of 25-26 degree Celsius and a high of 33-37 degree Celsius are also expected in Nakornnayok, Prachinburi, Srakaew, Chonburi, Rayong and Trad. The south easterly winds will accelerate from 15-30 km/per hour with a wave height of about 1 metre to be expected due to the strong winds.
